Our History
In 1999, we purchased the land, hoping that one day we might be able to plant a vineyard and maybe even make our own wines! We hired a vineyard consultant to conduct a thorough analysis, and we became very excited when he informed us if we had enough courage and patience, we had a great piece of property. In the meantime, we were still working in corporate America and had little time to focus on the vineyard project. Nevertheless, we decided to move on with our vineyard and our son Don moved to the valley to get things going. In the spring of 2001 we planted our first 15 acres. Our vines have been growing very well - see some of the pictures on the website. We have been working for four years on training and pruning the vines to get them ready for our first harvest, in 2004. At the same time we are also working on making wine.
