The appellation of Corton-Charlemagne produces the great white wines of the area around the top of the hill from Ladoix-Serrigny to Pernand-Vergelesses. Some Pinot Blanc grapes do remain but the majority of vines are Chardonnay.
Other Reviews: Surprisingly for a Giroud wine, this is generously oaked featuring ripe citrus and green apple notes that run to rich, full and impressively concentrated fullbodied flavors yet the finish retains a fine sense of precision on the mouth coating backend.
