Vivid, with blueberry and boysenberry flavors that glide through, staying fresh and open in feel while pretty spice hints fill in on the finish. A light mineral edge gives this some persistence. -James Molesworth, Wine Spectator
The 2016 Plince is a blend of 79% Merlot and 21% Cabernet Franc. It has a medium garnet-purple color and offers up scents of red and black currants, black cherries and mulberries with scorched earth, bay leaves and iron ore nuances plus a hint of violets. Medium-bodied, the palate is packed with energetic red and black fruits, textured with ripe, rounded tannins and loads of freshness, finishing on a compelling mineral note. -Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Wine Advocate
