10.) 2019 Chateau Lynch Bages, Pauillac

This outstanding Bordeaux wine was a hit this year. With fresh and spicy notes, and a smooth, balanced palate, it received high scores from both critics and customers at Wally’s. Wine Advocate even said: “The 2019 Lynch-Bages has turned out brilliantly, unwinding in the glass with aromas of cassis and sweet blackberry fruit mingled with licorice, mint, cigar wrapper and loamy soil.”

5.) 2019 Chateau Mouton Rothschild

This incredible Bordeaux wine didn’t last long at Wally’s. The intense and expressive red received high marks across the board, and it’s now gone from our shelves. However, interested shoppers can still get 2018 Chateau Mouton Rothschild. This vintage scored equally high points with critics, even earning 100 points from Decanter with a stellar review: “This has so much tannic power, with density, layers and structure along with layers of blackberry, liquorice, baked earth, cigar box and the signature exotic spices of Mouton.” With intense ripe fruit notes and generous tannins, it has great aging potential for decades to come.
